Dragons Teeth Hike Aberdares 31St January 2021
January 23 @ 4:45 am - 7:00 pmKES2,950
The Northern Moorland of the Aberdares Ranges offers the best trekking in Kenya. We will use Shamata gate & drive through the indigenous forest leading to the forest edge near the twin peaks. The vegetation gives way to tussock grass in marshes. The breathtaking landscape as you hike up soon unfolds ahead as interesting rock formations including the Dragon’s teeth come into view standing tall on the plateau.
Dragon’s Teeth is a sporadic formation of rocks rising from the wet moorland and bogs of the Aberdare.
