What to do in this one day tour
Morning Session: Nairobi National Park Safari (6:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
6:00 AM – Hotel Pick-Up
Your adventure begins early as our professional driver-guide picks you up from your Nairobi hotel or residence. An early start gives you the best chance to witness the park’s wildlife during their most active hours.
6:30 AM – Enter Nairobi National Park
Arrive at the park gates and begin your guided game drive in a custom safari vehicle with a pop-up roof for optimal wildlife viewing and photography. As the sun rises over the savannah, you’ll traverse open plains, acacia woodlands, and riverine forests.
What to Expect:
Wildlife sightings: Lions, buffalos, rhinos (including endangered black rhinos), giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and more.
Birdwatching: Spot some of the park’s 400+ bird species including secretary birds, crowned cranes, and eagles.
City backdrop: Unique photo opportunities of wild animals with Nairobi’s skyline in the distance.
9:30 AM – Hippo Pools Nature Walk (Optional)
Stretch your legs with a short walk to the Hippo Pools, where a Kenya Wildlife Service ranger may guide you through the trail. This peaceful area along the river provides a chance to spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds in a more relaxed setting.
10:30 AM – Continue Game Drive (Optional or Return Toward Exit)
Depending on your interests and time, continue exploring the park or begin making your way toward the exit, keeping your eyes peeled for any animals you may have missed earlier.
12:00 PM – Exit the Park
Leave the park after a fulfilling game drive and head back toward the city. Feel free to chat with your guide about Nairobi’s conservation efforts, local culture, or other attractions to explore.
1:00 PM – Hotel Drop-Off
Arrive back at your hotel or preferred drop-off location with unforgettable memories and fantastic photos of Nairobi’s wild side
