After a short relaxation, embark on your first afternoon game drive through Amboseli's vast open plains, famous for their large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Only Ol Tukai and Serena sit physically inside Amboseli; nearly all mid-range Amboseli camps (including those above) cluster near Kimana Gate on the park edge — normal, with excellent game access. Masai Mara tickets are 12-hour / calendar-day; your guide manages gate timing. Lake Nakuru & Amboseli non-resident KWS fees are included at the applicable 2026 rates. Children 3–17 are charged 50% of adult park fees.

Are all park fees really included, even the Masai Mara high-season fee?

Yes. Every park fee - Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and the Masai Mara at the high-season rate (1 July–31 December 2026) - is built into the prices for all non-resident adults. Nothing is payable at any gate.

Is the vehicle truly private, and is it a Land Cruiser or a van?

It is a private 4×4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof, used exclusively by your party. We run our own fleet, so it is our vehicle, not a subcontracted one. Each Land Cruiser seats up to 6 guests, every seat a window seat.

Do we keep the same driver-guide for the whole trip?

Yes. One professional, English-speaking, KPSGA-certified driver-guide stays with you from Nairobi pickup to drop-off.

Why three nights in the Masai Mara instead of two?

Three nights means two full days in the reserve rather than a rushed arrival-and-departure. In migration season, it is the difference between hoping for a river crossing and having the time to witness one.

Are the camps inside the parks or outside?

We tell you exactly. In Amboseli, nearly all mid-range camps (including ours) sit near Kimana Gate on the park edge — only Ol Tukai and Serena are physically inside. In the Mara, our camps are minutes from the Oloolaimutia/Sekenani gates. The Luxury tier's Lake Nakuru Lodge is inside Lake Nakuru National Park.

Can you keep us close to our budget?

Our Classic Comfort tier starts at $2,010 per person (4 sharing). Because three Mara nights in high season carry a $200/day park fee, that is the realistic floor for this private itinerary without cutting safari time or removing park fees. We would rather quote you honestly than drop a night to fake a lower price.

What is your deposit and cancellation policy, and how do we pay?

A deposit confirms your dates and lodges, with the balance due before arrival. Pay by USD bank wire or a secure card link. Full payment terms and the cancellation policy are confirmed in your booking. Contact us for the current schedule.

What's the best time for the Great Migration?

July to October is peak migration in the Masai Mara, when the wildebeest herds and river crossings concentrate. Our three Mara nights are ideal for this window.

🎒 Packing Essentials

Neutral-coloured clothing (khaki, olive, beige), a warm fleece for cool mornings, closed shoes, sun protection, binoculars, a camera with spare batteries and a power bank, and any personal medication. Travel insurance certificate (mandatory) and your passport. One soft bag per person fits best in the vehicle. Drones require a KWS permit and are not allowed in the reserve without one.
