This safari explores the following regions in Kenya
Day Itinerary
Day 1
Depart from Nairobi to Maasai Mara.
Meet and greet at the airport. Depart from Nairobi at 06:30 am. Drive south along the Rift Valley and stop at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley for some photos.
Arrive in the afternoon at Maasai Mara for lunch and then the evening game drive at 4.00 pm.
Return for dinner and overnight to the camp/lodge.
Day 2
Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
After breakfast, leave for a full-day game drive in search of the big five (Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant, and Buffalo), and get a chance to view different bird species.
Picnic lunch will be served within the reserve.
Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 3
Depart Maasai Mara and head back to Nairobi.
After breakfast, leave camp/lodge for game viewing en route for your journey to Nairobi.
A brief stopover at Narok for a bathroom break or to buy some snacks.
Later on, proceed with your trip to Nairobi.
Check-in at Sarova Hotel for lunch, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 4
Nairobi to Diani Beach.
Have breakfast, Check-out, and transfer to SGR terminus.
SGR train to Diani Beach
Check-in at Swahili Beach Hotel
Evening: Relax at the hotel and explore the hotel's facilities
Dinner at the hotel's restaurant
Day 5
Colobus Conservation & Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel
Transport to Colobus Conservation
~10:00 am: Visit Colobus Conservation and learn about the amazing work they do to protect the Angolan black and white colobus monkeys
Lunch at Swahili Beach Resort.
Afternoon: Visit Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest, an important cultural heritage site for the local Digo community
Return to the hotel.
Evening: Relax at the hotel or enjoy a walk on the beach
Day 6
Dolphin Watching & Boat Ride
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel
~08:00 am: Depart for a full-day dolphin-watching excursion
Enjoy a boat ride along the coast while spotting playful dolphins
Stopover for a delicious seafood lunch at Wasini Island
Afternoon: Free time to snorkel, scuba dive, or explore the island
Return to the hotel in the evening
Day 7
Shimba Hills National Reserve
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel
Depart for an exciting day trip to Shimba Hills National Reserve.
Embark on a guided game drive to see wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, and antelopes.
Have a picnic lunch at the reserve.
Visit Sheldrick Falls for a refreshing swim.
Evening: return to the hotel
Day 8
Free Time
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel
Free time for sunbathing or exploring; we recommend visiting the nearby Ukunda Village for souvenir shopping
Evening: Unwind and sip a cocktail at the hotel's beach bar as you watch the sunset
Day 9
Diani Beach to Nairobi
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel
Check-out and transfer to SGR terminus
SGR train back to Nairobi
