πŸ₯‰ Bronze Team Building Package | Burudani Adventure Park, Limuru

Safari at a Glance

Safari Highlight

KSh 3,950 per person (Excl. VAT) | 5-30 People | Just 45 Minutes from Nairobi

You have been asked to organize the team building. Your budget is tight. Your colleagues are skeptical ("forced fun," someone will mutter). Your boss wants "measurable outcomes" but also "something different this time."

We have been doing this long enough to know: the best team building does not happen during the "synergy workshop." It happens when the quiet guy from IT is dangling from a zipline screaming his lungs out, and the entire finance department is cheering him on like he just scored the winning goal.

This is the Bronze Package at Burudani Adventure Park. Real activities in real nature. No conference rooms. No PowerPoints. Just red dirt, eucalyptus trees, and the kind of shared panic that actually makes people talk to each other on Monday morning.

πŸŽͺ The Activities at Burudani Adventure Park, Limuru

πŸͺ’ High Ropes Level 1

Ten meters up in the canopy. Wobbly bridges. Balance beams that betray you. Your team harnesses each other literally. The person who cannot swim suddenly trusts the accounting manager to clip their carabiner correctly. That is the point.

πŸš€ Ziplining

Two hundred meters across a valley. The first person hesitates. The fifth person is doing Superman poses. By the end, everyone has a photo where they look terrified and triumphant. These go on the company WhatsApp group. This is marketing you cannot buy.

🧭 Treasure Hunt

Not the cheesy kind. We hide clues in the tea plantations. Teams navigate using actual compasses (remember those?). Someone realizes the intern has a geography degree. Someone else realizes the "useless" admin assistant is excellent at decoding puzzles. Discoveries happen.

🧱 Crate Tower Building

Stack wooden crates while standing on them. Sounds simple until the tower wobbles at crate seven and the entire sales team is shouting contradictory advice. Teaches: planning, communication, and how to handle failure without blaming each other.

🀝 Facilitated Session

Our lead facilitator starts with "What is actually broken in your team communication?" (We ask it nicer than that, but that is the question.) Then we design the afternoon around fixing it. Not generic trust falls. Specific fixes for your specific dysfunction.

πŸ– Lunch: The Standard Buffet

After the adrenaline, food matters. We serve:

  • Brown beef stew (actual meat, not soup with meat flavor)
  • Spicy potato wedges or Chinese fried rice
  • Creamed spinach (the healthy bit)
  • Fruity coleslaw (the refreshing bit)
  • Soft drink or water

Eat at picnic tables under trees. Not in a dining hall. The fresh air at 2,200 meters above sea level makes everything taste better.

πŸ‘₯ Who This Package Is Actually For

You are a small business (5-15 people)
Most venues ignore you. They want groups of 30. We specialize in small teams. You get the same attention as a corporate giant.

You are an HR manager with a tight budget
Your CFO approved KSh 4,000 per head. Not KSh 8,000. This is the only quality option in your range that does not feel "cheap."

You have done the hotel ballroom thing before
Trust falls in carpeted rooms. Everyone hated it. You need dirt under fingernails. Real risk (managed). Real memories.

Your team is skeptical about "mandatory fun."
Good. So is ours. We design activities where the fun is emergent, not forced. Even the cynics participate when there is a zipline involved.

You need something this Saturday
We can organize this with 72 hours' notice. Other places need two weeks.

🌿 Why Burudani Feels Different

The Location Matters
Tigoni is 2,200 meters above sea level. It is 10 degrees cooler than Nairobi. Mist rolls in at 3 PM. You are surrounded by tea plantations that look like green corduroy. The air smells of eucalyptus and wet earth. This is not the dusty heat of Kitengela or the long drive to Naivasha. This is an immediate escape.

The Size is Human
We are not a factory. When your group arrives, we know your name. We remember that last time the marketing team came, someone proposed on the zipline platform (true story).

Safety Without Paranoia
Yes, helmets. Yes, harnesses checked twice. Yes, trained guides. But also, we let you take photos on the platform. We let you laugh at each other (kindly). We do not treat you like children.

🚨 Booking & Cancellation (The Real Rules)

To Book:

  1. Send us your group size and preferred date
  2. We send an invoice for 50% deposit
  3. Pay via M-Pesa or bank transfer
  4. Receive confirmation with exact directions (GPS pin includedβ€”Limuru roads can be tricky)

Cancellation:

  • 72+ hours notice: 98% refund or reschedule free
  • 48 hours: 50% refund of deposit
  • Less than 24 hours: Deposit kept (we have already bought the food and paid the guides)
  • Weather/emergency: We reschedule. No penalty. We do not do refunds for rain because: Limuru mist is part of the charm, and we have covered areas for sessions.
  •

πŸŽ’ What to Tell Your Team to Bring

Wear:

  • Sport shoes with grip (the red dirt is slippery when wet)
  • Long pants (harnesses chafe on bare legs)
  • Layers (morning mist is cold, afternoon sun is warm)

Bring:

  • Water bottle (we have refill stations)
  • Sunscreen (high altitude = stronger UV)
  • Change of clothes (you will sweat, someone might fall in the mud)
  • Cash for extra drinks

Leave at home:

  • Heels (seriously, someone always tries)
  • Expensive jewelry (it falls off on the zipline)

❓ Q&A

Q: Is 5 people really enough?
Yes. We have run excellent sessions with 5. The activities scale. With 5, everyone participates in everything. With 30, we split into teams. Both work.

Q: What if someone is afraid of heights?
They can skip the high ropes. There is ground-based treasure hunt work. No one is forced. (Though we have noticed the "afraid of heights" people often end up doing the zipline anyway, once they see the harness is secure.)

Q: Can we bring our own food?
No. Insurance and health regulations require us to cater. But we accommodate dietary needs (vegetarian, halal, allergies)β€”tell us when booking.

Q: Is there phone signal?
Patchy. Safaricom works best. Airtel struggles. Consider this a feature, not a bug.

Q: What if it rains?
We have covered pavilions for the facilitated sessions. Ziplining continues in light rain (gear is waterproof). Heavy rain = we wait it out with tea. Lightning = we pause. Safety first, always.
