Located in the Mabrouke area in Tigoni Tigoni, Limuru Sub-county, Kiambu County. Very accessible via Google Maps under three routes. Located approximately 42 kilometers and about an hour away from Nairobi Central Business District (CBD). To list there are main routes that can get you to Burudani; they include Waiyaki Way 42 Km, Limuru Road 35 km, and Kiambu Road 39 Km. They are all tarmacked and smooth. From the main road, you take Murram Road, which stretches for about 800 meters.
Please note the 800 meters stretch of murram road is in a very bad state. Still, A 2WD car with good clearance will make it. Without a doubt, in a rainy season, you will need a 4WD to access Burudani Park. If using public means, there is boda boda that charges fifty to a hundred to drop you at Burudani. Still, you can walk to Burudani. Murram Road is safe even while walking. Hiking in Kenya has become an integral part of us as a nation. Hence, if you are adventurous, walk to Burudani Park from the main road.
Limuru is one of the coldest destinations. Please bring along a puffer, down jacket, or fleece jacket and enjoy your time to the maximum while at Burudani.
